Hey Bill – I wasn’t sure where the best place to leave a comment would be to ensure you got it so just picked your most current dated post…You probably know I was talking to Caroline a couple of days ago and she gave me your new (?) website so I could check it out. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, but will anyhow, it’s fabulous – both your work and your writing about art. So happy to see you are selling more paintings – do you call chalk-work paintings? No matter what you call them, they are very good, to my uneducated eye. I especially like the Mona Lisa one (forget if it has a name) … I also like your comments about the need to attend shows etc in major cities and was saying to Caroline that you and she must go to Europe. Terry and I didn’t even know how much we would love the Louvre, and Dali’s museum in Paris etc. – oh and the Colum D’Or in St.Paul de Vence, and Matisse’s Chapel in Vence itself where we were staying, the Uffizi in Florence, any on and on. I didn’t even know before I went how much Italy adores poets – dumb really as I knew about Dante and vaguely about Petrarch and Boccaccio but not really … anyhow, if ever you get the chance … go. Glad to hear you are working at your art full-time Bill, it looks good on you. I told Caroline but I’ll repeat it here – give Rocky my love if you see him. Still one of my favourite people on the planet even though we only met that once … take good care. Sharon

Great to hear from you, Sharon! Thanks for the kind words, I’m glad you’re enjoying the site. Things are getting busy with the new show with alana as well as preparing for the upcoming residency at Trent in February. I’m writing what will be an evening lecture as part of the gig, and figuring out where I’ll build a wall for working at Gzowski College.
I totally agree that Caroline & I have to get to Europe in the nearish future to get a glimpse of all the art treasures that are available in all the towns and cities, something Zal Yanofski said I have to do back when I worked at Chez Piggy in the early 80s.
How are things in your life? What are you up to these days, and how are Terry & the gals? I’ll be sure to pass on your warmest greetings to Rocky when I talk to him. He’s just opened a shop in Bancroft with an old friend, and I don’t see him as often because he’s staying up north more and more lately, but we stay in touch.
I’ll be posting more soon, so take a look in a couple of weeks. After the lecture, I’ll also post the text here, which will be a longer read than most of what I write on the site. Page 15 & counting!!
      Cheerio,
      bb
